Built Environment Programme Lead. Full Time Permanent.

We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 21,400 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.

Due to an internal promotion we are seeking to appoint a Programme Lead in our Built Environment department with experience in Construction Management. As a Programme Lead, you will form part of a vibrant and successful team dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching and assessment and have responsibility for leading and coordinating courses and programmes, working alongside the Programme Area Manager and Director to monitor courses and course data, and plan programmes to maximise resource and funding. You will ensure that learner satisfaction remains high on your programmes, that progress is tracked and retention and achievement levels are maintained as part of your responsibility within the role.

Teaching duties will embrace delivery across a range of programmes including level 3 and HNC/D with the potential to support the delivery of our BSc offer for a suitably qualified and experienced appointee. Applicants should therefore have significant and recent work experience in the vocational area. You will have GCSE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent. You will also hold a relevant HNC/D qualification (Level 5) as a minimum and preferably a BSc in Construction Management or similar (Level 6).

Ideally applicants will also hold a recognised teaching qualification however support is available for exceptional candidates yet to achieve qualified teacher status.

Programme Lead salary is £29,721- £37,359 based on qualifications and experience.
