Job Title: Valve/ Actuation Technical Support Engineer
Location: Based at Centrica Storage Ltd (CSL) Office in Hull/Easington.
Job Description:
On location focal point to CSL's Operation & Maintenance teams respects to all matters valve related. Asserting themselves as a technical authority for valves & relating equipment.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Provide technical input into RCA's for valves and associated equipment o
- Single point of contact for SVS Field Service Engineer (based at onshore & offshore site
Additional Requirements:
- Assist with shutdown planning for valve overhauls.
- Attend planning meetings.
- Provide comprehensive technical support on matters relating to valve automation, instrumentation & controls.
- Display day to day proactivity & innovation to the client
- Attend sites in the event of priority/ emergency requirements when needed.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Must hold considerable experience in topside valves & relating equipment, with respects to manufacturers & equipment design.
- Be well versed in seal selection for topside equipment for specific service applications.
- Have valid experience in supporting Operators/ Clients o Ability to make decisions under pressure.
