Java Web Developer

Java Web Developer opportunity to join a very interesting organisation based in Edinburgh. They are looking to hire passionate Web Developers with particular experience in Java.

The development team are working on a range of applications at the moment and are looking for Developers who can come in and hit the ground running, working across multiple projects and technologies. The team work with modern technologies on high vision web applications and you will have the opportunity to really see the result, and value, of your work.

Technical background required:

*Commercial Java development experience (and if you are also comfortable with another programming language then this would be highly desirable - PHP, Ruby, .NET/C#)

*Experience of enterprise Content Management Systems

*Spring/Hibernate

*Database experience (MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB)

*Exposure to Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Maven/Ant)

*Test driven development (Junit)

Any experience with Android and/or iOS mobile application development would be advantageous, but is not essential. What is essential is that you have good communication skills and drive and will be able to join this busy development team and get 'stuck in'.
