Assistant Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a telecoms organisation based in the York area. Reporting to the Group Management Accountant you will assist in the production of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for the group.

The main duties and responsibilities are to include:

*Work alongside the Group Management Accountant to prepare the monthly accounts
*Inputting all accounting journals as required
*Assist in the completion of trial balance sheet reconciliations
*Manage accruals and prepayments for entities
*Process and reconcile the credit card and foreign bank payments and receipts.
*Process and reconcile fixed asset additions and disposals
*Take an active role in the production of annual financial budgets
*Deal with any queries from customers
*Assisting with the year end audit for the group
