Description
The Role and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for around 80/90% tax advisory as well as 10/20% compliance matters (for example review of Corporation Tax computations and returns). The advisory element would cover work including (but not limited to):
- Research & Development;
- share schemes including EMI share option schemes and Employee Shareholder Status shares;
- EIS and SEIS investment;
- Capital Allowances; mergers, de-mergers, substantial shareholdings exemption and group restructuring;
- tax advice on corporate sales and acquisitions; and international tax matters.
- You will be responsible for assisting with the management and delivery of assignments and advice to clients ensuring work is completed to scope and budget.
- You will also be involved with the marketing and development of new business for the firm, as well as the supervision and training of junior staff.
- Excellent prospects.
Profile
You will ideally be ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified and have a strong technical ability with good communication skills.
Some previous experience in connection with Corporation Tax compliance would be beneficial to the role.
