LOCATION: Market Harborough, Leicestershire
JOB TITLE: Parts Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: Depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Must be flexible as per business needs but core hours will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Market Harborough and established in 1986, supplies and services a range of machines for Industrial and Municipal Cleaning as well as comprehensive range of Ground care Equipment, including Kubota, Stiga and Mountfield.
THE ROLE: Because of retirement, our client is looking to recruit a Parts Manager who will be responsible for managing the Parts Department, including associated stock, personnel and equipment.
Key responsibilities for the role of Parts Manager:
• Responsible for the safe and tidy operation of the goods-in, dispatch areas and stock control
• Keeping accurate stock control
• Liaising with 3rd party service providers
• To ensure the effective buying of parts
• Driving initiatives to increase parts sales and margin.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful Parts Manager will be outgoing, personable and someone who can communicate confidently to 3rd party service suppliers and other members of staff. The candidate will ideally hold a valid forklift licence and must live within a commutable distance of Market Harborough.
Key experience essential for the role of a Parts Manager:
• Must have previous experience in a similar role or environment
• Any experience with Purchasing will be highly advantageous
• Holding a valid forklift licence is desirable
