Web Content Manager - Maternity Cover - Digital Services

The vacancy is to fill maternity cover for up to 12 months, working onsite for this company at their offices in Weybridge, Surrey. The successful candidate is able to gain experience of working for a successful B2B marketing agency, onsite at a multi-national technology manufacturer.

Reporting to the Digital Services Team Leader, the Web Content Manager role will be responsible for managing content requests on a scheduled basis on behalf of this company. This will be within their bespoke CMS system and knowledge of the principals of a content management system will be required.

As the 33 client websites are all in local language, the role is expected to be able to manage the quality and consistency across all the sites, communicating accurately with internal and external audiences. One of the external parties will be a translation partner who is expected to be an extension of the team. Managing timelines in accordance with any reliance on external partners is something which the role must undertake, informing the client in a timely manner as to when the specific tasks will be completed.

Some knowledge of HTML coding and how to process simple amends would be advantageous, as most marketing content within the client's CMS system is HTML based.

This role is based on site at their client's office in Weybridge, Surrey. The role will provide the successful candidate with the experience of working for a major technology brand, in a corporate office environment but with the additional bonus of having an insight into how a successful B2B marketing agency operates. Following the assignment, the candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in either to future employers.
