IT Support Engineer – 1st Line or 2nd line

They now have an opportunity for a talented IT Support Engineer to join their IT support and solutions company in Halifax.

The role
As an IT Support Engineer you will be completely focused on providing a personal service to clients, building relationships and being prepared to answer the phone to clients who need your knowledge and support to help resolve their IT queries.

So, what do you need to know...

•    A sound background in day to day PC support and problem solving 
•    PC hardware and Microsoft Operating systems  
•    Microsoft Office 
•    Familiar with problems associated with malware, spyware and viruses
•    General Networking Skills DHCP, GW, DNS, IP addressing, VPN’s
•    ISP networking routers, Fttc, ADSL WiFi
•    Printer related problems. Software and hardware
•    It would be an advantage if the candidate has experience and understanding in 
Terminal servers, Exchange, grp policies, Domain management
