THE COMPANY: Our client is a co-educational day school for children aged 2-13, which has occupied its present 25 acre site in the village of Rudgwick for over 50 years. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior IT Technicianto join their team.
THE ROLE: For the role of the Junior IT Technician you will assisting the schools IT Coordinator in meeting the schools IT support needs.

- Trouble shoot basic problems associated with operating systems, networks, software, hardware, printers etc.
- Ensure that a supply of consumable items such as printer cartridges and toners are maintained and reordered as required.
- Carry out and manage the schools data back-ups.
- Ensure virus protection is kept up to date.
- Installation of new hardware and software.
- Maintaining the schools active directory E.g. Managing user accounts
- Managing and tracking warranties and repairs on school IT equipment
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Junior IT Technician you will have a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Rudgwick.
Key experience essential for the role of Junior IT Technician :-
- Good knowledge and experience of Windows operating systems
- Relevant experience or a suitable qualification within IT
