Site Manager – Facades
Location: Fareham      
Salary £50,00 + Car Allowance  + 25 days Holiday

Our client is a respected  Facades subcontractor based in Fareham and London , they have been in business sine the 80’s and have built up a strong reputation.  The company has seen a steady increase in jobs sine the start of the year and now need to recruit a Site Manager with Cladding / Windows experience.

Description of Job Role:

To work as part of the site management team to deliver the project safely, on time to the highest quality whilst exceeding our customers expectations.

Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the site rules.

To be a fully qualified SMSTS and to ensure that qualification is renewed every 5 years.

Deliver specific site induction to the supply chain members.

Attend the Health and Safety prestart meetings with supply chain members.

Ensure that works carried out by operatives within their responsibility are in accordance with approved method statement and risk assessment.

To act as 'lead role' for own operations and operatives.

To actively work as part of the Site Management Team including the client team site management and Supply Chain members.

Responsibility to not only own workforce but all site operatives/activities. Any breeches of H&S law/site rules to be challenged and/or immediately reported to the client site management as required.

Ensure that levels of housekeeping are maintained and areas of works are cleared up as the works progress.

Ensure that the Clearance Conformance form is presented to the site management at agreed time.

To accompany the Safety Manager during weekly audits as and when requested.

To accompany Group Safety Inspectors during site inspections as and when requested.

Experience:

Have a minimum of 5 years site management experience in the facade industry, with experience of Schuco & Hueck window systems an advantage.

Have a 'Can Do' attitude.

Enjoy working within a team & bringing people together.

Fully commit to attending co-ordination meetings and to actively participate.

An very positive attitude towards Health and Safety in accordance with the SHE Policy.

Fully commit to agreements made and ensure that these are carried out.

Model behaviour that shows respect, helpfulness and co-operation.

Respond positively and with resilience to set backs.

Recognise when there are conflicts, acknowledge the views and feelings of all parties and redirect energy towards a common goal.
