Business Analysts
We are looking to appoint talented and experienced Business Analysts to double the size of our existing team. You will support product development and informatics strategies by sourcing potential clients, establishing client relationships and providing expertise in human computer interaction, business process mapping and requirements/knowledge capture. You will be joining an innovative and growing organisation, driving a revolutionary approach to healthcare. Our knowledge of digital data and advanced software helps to improve the way clinical trials are conducted and ensures patients are kept safe. You will be based in the vibrant city of Manchester and will collaborate with some of the largest healthcare and technology corporations worldwide (including NHS, academia and large multi-nationals such as GlaxoSmithKline and Hitachi).
As a Business Analyst for NWEH, you will:
Work closely with the business/operations and technical teams
Be a major contributor to the requirements specification deliverable
Write business and functional requirements
Ensure the integration between business and technology
Perform feasibility analysis and scopes projects
Work with the project management team to prioritise deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities.
Understand development processes and have strong analytical skills to problem solve and identify, communicate and resolve issues.

The ideal candidate Essential skills
Five years in an IT environment (ideally with experience of healthcare and/or clinical research)
Proven ability to learn and work effectively within teams to achieve timely and valued objectives
Experience in the successful establishment and management of high-achieving relationships with senior clinicians and clinical research groups
Experience in working with a wide range of clients at all levels
Track record of achievements in securing benefits from IT implementation e.g. improved therapeutic regimes, high impact publications, clinical practice benefits
Proven project management skills working on small- to medium-sized projects
Strong aptitude for knowledge elicitation
Relevant experience of working with end users to capture requirements, requirements analysis and dissemination to software engineers
Strong aptitude for user interface design, requirements capture, and evaluation
Strong presentation and writing skills
Experience of producing reports, proposals and relevant documentation to the highest standards
Experience of producing and delivering presentations to audiences with a broad level of understanding
Understanding of business process and technology adoption
High level of analysis and data management skills
Desirable skills
Degree level qualification: Secondary or higher level scientific degree
Evidence of postgraduate study and research
Experience of healthcare especially NHS information systems
Experience of clinical research
