We are looking to appoint talented and experienced Project Managers to support the Project Management team with a wide range of technical and clinical research related projects for global pharmaceutical and technology customers. You will be joining an innovative and growing organisation, driving a revolutionary approach to healthcare. Our knowledge of digital data and advanced software helps to improve the way clinical trials are conducted and ensures patients are kept safe. You will be based in the vibrant city of Manchester and will collaborate with some of the largest healthcare and technology corporations worldwide (including NHS, academia and large multi-nationals such as GlaxoSmithKline and Hitachi).

As a Project Manager for NWEH, you will:


Support corporate projects and clinical trial delivery
Project manage appropriate NWEH projects from start to completion to the highest standard
Matrix manage dedicated project teams to ensure successful delivery
Manage all PM documentation that tracks and reports project activities
Manage dissemination of project information to all stakeholders including clients and senior teams to ensure excellent communication
Coordinate effective and detailed project status reports on regular bases
Liaise closely with NWEH Senior Management to ensure on-target project delivery and support Senior Management Team in escalating project exceptions
Attend and give input in project meetings designed to ensure on-target delivery

The ideal candidate Essential skills


Extensive (minimum 2 years) project management full-life cycle experience (and projects over GBP500k for Senior roles)
Understand the principles that govern project management activities
Previous experience in working on IT database-based project or R&D projects
Experience of effective change management
Good interpersonal skills
Self-development and motivation
Adaptability / flexibility
Problem solving, Prioritization, Team working
Previous experience of tracking and analysis complex data
Previous experience of providing project status reports and other project documentation to relevant stakeholders.






Desirable skills


Experience in healthcare
Experience in clinical research
Good understanding of information governance guidelines in clinical setting
Experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server data
Experience of working in validated IT systems environment.
