Currently recruiting for a Head of Talent Development & Engagement to join a company in Bristol for 12 months on a fixed term contract basis. The role would be suitable for a HR Professional from an Organisational Development and Engagement background, and it will based from one of their locations along the M4 for 2 days per week.The role of Head of Talent Development & Engagement will be critical in helping to shape and embed positive cultural change and high performance across the company. The successful applicant will have a successful track record of implementing successful talent development and engagement initiatives and have a deep understanding of how real employee engagement aligned to strategy can improve organisational and individual performance. You will be highly credible, leading and influencing with your intellectual and problem-solving ability. You will thrive on pace and change and be flexible in your approach as you will need to work to agreed timescales. Having previously driven complex change within organisations undergoing major structural changes you will understand the importance of strategic people management. A firm grip on operational delivery whilst delivering against a strategic agenda is essential. The ideal candidate will have: A degree or equivalent experienceExperience of embedding values and behavioural frameworksProven experience in the design and implementation of talent development and engagement programmesExperience of managing third party suppliers delivering bespoke solutionsExperience of line managing a team and providing support and directionComprehensive knowledge and understanding of leadership and talent development interventions and implementing best-fit approaches and knowledge of group and organisational dynamics.Adept at influencing stakeholders and challenging the status quo with a proven ability to establish personal credibility quickly, demonstrate the organisation's values and build trust with colleagues at all levelsProven project management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst working with ambiguity using well-developed written and oral communication skills, both verbal and written Please note you will receive an automated response advising you that we have received your CV.
