Foundation Derbyshire is currently seeking an

ASSISTANT GRANTS OFFICER, on a permanent contract basis  

Salary £15,000 - £18,000 dependant on experience

22.5 hours per week

Based in Belper, Foundation Derbyshire is a local registered charity, grant maker and philanthropy hub. We're building an endowment fund and using the income it generates to provide grants to local groups working to tackle disadvantage, build stronger communities and enhance the quality of life in our county.

Our donors, who set up funds, are individuals, families, local businesses and groups want to support Derbyshire based community activity and charities on their own doorstep.

The Assistant Grants Officer will have responsibility for supporting the grants team with the application and monitoring processes as well as offering front line support to local community groups and charities seeking financial help.

It is hoped that, as the Foundation grows, the role will include long term development opportunities - leading to full grants officer training and responsibility for specific donor funds.
