Marketing Support Assistant

A global technology company based in Maidenhead require a Marketing Support Assistant to join their team from early 2017. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing activities across UK and Ireland and play a vital role in helping the company achieve its targets. You will ideally have a marketing qualification, be working towards one or have previous experience in a similar role. Although based in Maidenhead currently, this company will be moving within the next year, anywhere between Reading and Maidenhead which will need to be taken into consideration. Key duties to include: Managing social media accounts including LinkedIn and TwitterMaintaining CRM systemAssisting in creating various emarketing material including newslettersTracking leads from your won marketing activity and following up warm leads as requiredAssisting in organisation of events, roadshows and exhibitionsManaging internal communication for new productsMarket researchTaking inbound calls for the sales team when requiredAny other ad-hoc administrative duties as required by the team Key skills/knowledge required: A marketing qualification is highly beneficial, however a demonstrable background in a similar role is essentialKnowledge of social media and ability to build a strategyMust be highly organised with excellent attention to detailNeed to have a high level of IT skillsExcellent written and verbal communication is essentialManaging your own time effectively is key as well as the ability to use your own initiative and bring ideas to the company Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training and skills that they identify.
