Functional Skills SEN Lecturer

A further education college in the Wakefield area is currently seeking an Functional Skills Lecturer to teach students with Special educational Needs.The college are looking for someone join their team on a part time temporary contract starting January until further notice. Ideally you will have: * A Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths. * Recent experience teaching Functional Skills. * Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia. * Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students. * Experience of accurate record-keeping. * Good IT skills. * Ability to understand the issues of safeguarding and confidentiality. * A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
