Apprentice Recruitment Consultant.

My client, a leading Medical recruitment firm are looking to recruit an Apprentice Recruitment Consultant to join their fast growing teamsbased in Hertfordshire (near Ware). As a company they specialise in recruiting nurses on behalf of the NHS and have developed into a leading supplier through their pashion for staffing and drive for success. They and currently seeking apprentices to train and develop into a recruitment role. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in an office or sales role, although this is not essential. We are looking for individuals who are confident, ambitious, enthusiatic and hardworking with a "can do" atttitude to work. As an apprentice/trainee consultant you will be guided in your learning by a senior member of the recruitment team helping develop your skills and industry knowledge. This apprenticeship will suite those with minimal to no recruitment experience, recent school/college leavers or young individuals looking for a change of employment. Due to the nature of the apprenticeship full training and support will be provided over the 12 month course with the possibility to move on afterwards to a full time position within the company. DUTIES Your day to day duties can include: Searching for candidates through adverts, job boards and company databaseSpell checking and posting job adverts on job boardsContacting candidates, arranging interviews, assessing staff and adding new candidates on to company databases.Cold calling companies to generate leads and businessWorking towards key performance indicators and targetsSupporting senior members of the teamAnswering incoming calls, taking messages and dealing with appropriatelyEditing CV's to send to senior consultant/companiesAny other duties as directed in relation to the job role.Managing client relationships REQUIRMENT As this is an apprenticeship no previous experience is required, however you will need to meet certain criteria in order to be eligible for the role. Whether you have recent left school or college and are looking for your first step on the career ladder or even an alternative to further education an apprenticeship is the best path.In a recruitment role you will need to be resilient, a strong team player, driven, ambitious and motivated (both to be successful and for financial gain). You must have minimum GCSE in maths and English grades A*-C.Previous experience in a sales/office based role or having worked or studied within construction would be advantageous but not essential.
