General Motors Europe is currently looking for experienced and driven Data Analyst with strong knowledge on SQL. These roles will be part of the growing OnStar European Operations Team.
Our Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and developing SQL scripts, reports and other systems/tools using SQL. Role will also involve ensuring all systems are interacting and functioning as designed to meet high service levels and interacting with other Subject Matter Experts to detect system failures and troubleshoot the nature of these failures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor core services system performance to maintain highest possible service delivery rates
- Ensure adequate system requirements are documented for changes to the system platforms by maintaining a closing working relationship with various stakeholders
- Design and develop performance metrics that represent E2E service delivery performance
- Assist IT sustain team in identifying and troubleshooting production issues
- Select appropriate regression test cases to be run for SIT/UAT end to end performance
- Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost/benefit analysis and budgets to leadership
- Assist in developing solutions to unusual and difficult problems

Qualifications and Experience:
A successful candidate for the SQL Data Analyst roles should have the following:
- Technical knowledge of SQL including its development
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related engineering experience
- High level of Oral and written communication skills
- Experience working within in a technical or issue resolution environment
- Knowledge and understanding in network performance of CDMA and GSM technology is an advantage
