Applications Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer to join my market leading client to be part of their successful and stable team. This blue chip organisation design, manufacture and supply special purpose equipment that can be used by industry. They have won several awards for their forward thinking ideas and the development of creative innovative products.
As the new Applications Engineer you will be a key player in assisting the sales team secure new orders. You will supply Mechanical technical knowledge to clients on supplying the best solution from a market leading product. Your role will involve around 25% of the time travelling to clients and the orest will be based internally working with different departments to create and test bespoke client requirements. You will be joining other exceptionally motivated and skilled engineers, who are always looking to test the engineering principles in developing a product to meet client's specifications. The role is pivotal and challenging though you will be recognised for your hard work in this career advancing role.
So, what are we looking for in this Applications Engineer?
This role is for a technically minded mechanical Engineer. A degree or HNC/HND.
A confident manor in communicating directly with clients and communicating technical solutions
Understanding of engineering materials, testing.
Experience working within a multi-disciplined engineering team on time bound tasks.
What do we offer this Applications Engineer?
Well unfortunately we cannot offer GBP100,000 a year salary, having spoken to HR it's not in the budget, though we can offer up to GBP33,000 for this position depending on your experience.
