IT Manager
The IT Manager is responsible to ensure that the IT Infrastructure and Services as well as computer systems used in the manufacture, storage, testing, and distribution of Company products are fit for purpose in accordance with Company standards, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
This encompasses work processes that originate with the identification of a new or revised system, the design, installation, verification and validation of the system, the maintenance of the system in its commissioned/qualified/validated state and the retirement of the system at the end of its life.
The IT Manager serves as the single point of contact for all technologies at the site, including Information Systems.
Responsibilities
- The IT Manager ensures reliable and smooth operation of all site IT infrastructure for a 24x7 commercial manufacturing facility in the site, including infrastructure related hardware/software, ESX Virtualization, SAN storage, VMWare, Backup and Recovery, and the monitoring process.
- Manage and supports the site IT Infrastructure including Network, Wireless, ESX hosting environment, servers (virtual and physical), and Backup and Disaster Recovery system, to keep interoperability and reliability. The nature of the position requires significant hands-on technical experience to keep mentioned technologies in control and in compliance.
- Lead and support site IT related problems and incidents, and follow up until root cause identification and problem solved. The process may require Implementation of CAPAs, change control, configuration management, and other ITS processes. Incumbent will be responsible for effective upstream and downstream communications.
- Contribute to the site project roadmap definition and implementation to align with business strategy and processes. From scope definition and requirements, schedule and budget estimation as well as the implementation and closed out activities, the incumbent will be responsible and accountable for the project local activities execution.
- As the site ITS single point of contact, the incumbent shall maintain partnerships with all site organizations, including Manufacturing, Facilities and Engineering, Technical services, Quality and HSE ensuring alignment with the site priorities and objectives.
- The incumbent may select and manage necessary IT Internal (Group) or External (Contractor) resources needed for IT service on site
Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related, preferably Master's degree
- Experience directing and/or managing Automation/IS systems and departments in a regulated environment
- Hands-on experience supporting IS Infrastructure systems and applications
- Strong technical hands-on experience on IS infrastructure: virtualization environment and hosting, network communications, backup and DRP, SAN Storage and Server.
- Experience executing and/or supporting capital projects including manage contractors, schedule, and validation on GMP Environment.
- Experience supporting 24x7 commercial manufacturing sites
- Demonstrates leadership, interpersonal, technical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
