£16,000 - £20,000 DOE 

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Despatch Assistant to join their highly successful and respected worldwide manufacturing business, providing measuring sensors and solutions. 

As a Despatch Assistant, you’ll work closely with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure all orders are accurately picked, checked, properly packed and shipped. You’ll also ensure stock levels are accurate and errors are investigated. 

Although expanding, our client is a small business (50 people) with a friendly family culture. This job is based in a warm comfortable modern unit, and would equally suit male or female applicants. The role is being offered as full time, or as two part time job share roles. 

Due to the wide range of products, diverse supplier base, worldwide shipping destinations and multiple shipping options, this job is varied and challenging.

To be considered, you must have: 

- Experience gained within either a warehouse, picking and packing or manufacturing environment 
- Previous experience of picking and packing and stock taking and/or stock administration 
- A good level of IT literacy, including MS Office 
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths 

Methodical and organised, as a Despatch Assistant, you must have good attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise your workload.
