My client is looking for a shift manager for an FMCG Warehouse in Bristol this is a really fast paced high intensity role with a lot of FUN!
You will report to the site Operations Manager, and you will be responsible as the Warehouse Shift Manager in maintaining the work flow of the operation within a fast moving and ever changing environment, used to dealing with a large number of operatives and also any fluctuation in labour. Ideally you will have worked in Distribution environment and be able to demonstrate leadership qualities. The responsibilities of the Warehouse Shift Manager will include, but not be limited to:
- Health and safety of the site
- Product rotation and correct distribution of goods
- Be able manage large volumes of inventory
- Monitor performance, temporary staff , sickness, overtime and timekeeping
- Promote team-working within the operation
- Liaise with all other on site functions
- Monitor individuals performance through KPI's
- Organise team workloads to achieve operational objectives
- Motivate and develop the team, clear and concise communications to staff and teams
- To deal with grievance / disciplinary procedures in line with company policies
Profile
The successful Warehouse Shift Manager candidate will possess the following skillset:
- Excellent people management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent IT and Computer skills
