HR Manager - UK ??50,000K + DOE Gloucester Permanent - Full Time Our clients based in Gloucester are building upon strong legacies of medical innovation to develop and deliver breakthrough therapeutic solutions for the benefit of patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare systems. They provide solutions that extend and enhance life for patients who experience their treatment solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: This role will incorporate - but not be limited to - the following: Lead the recruitment process in line with the company recruitment policies, going from the identification of the needs, to selection of candidates, set up of the employment agreements and onboarding of new hires;Interpret company HR policies and procedures for all employees to ensure a smooth implementation at local level, and ensure these are compatible with local/regional governmental regulations;Lead the termination process guaranteeing all necessary legal requirements are met, in order to ensure smooth out-staff-movements;Coordinate the implementation of the employees performance cycle to guarantee consistency;Coordinate the implementation of the employees development/career plan to help in the talent optimization and succession planning, and increase retention;Collaborate closely with Accounting and Payroll to ensure correct payments to employees;Work in close collaboration with the Global HR team to ensure consistency on a global level;Maintain personnel files up-to-date to be able to track history, if required; MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 4 years professional work experience in the Human Resources function with employee-facing responsibilitiesHigh school or university degree or equivalent combination of acceptable training and experienceBroad knowledge of HR principles, practices and procedures, and demonstrated ability to drive HR strategic agenda using knowledge of the organization and its employeesGeneral knowledge of various employment laws and practices.Proficient knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.Proven track record of demonstrating knowledge and understanding of compliance topics.Experience within the medical device industry is a plus.
