This client is a specialist engineering business that design bespoke systems used in the chemical, manufacturing and industrial market. The systems components include pressure vessels, pipework and heat exchangers and are focused in the recovery and efficiency of energy and processes. They have a full order book moving into 2017 and have an exciting period of growth ahead that will offer excellent development and progression opportunities.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will handle contracts from initial enquiry into design, manufacture and through to installation. This will include all aspects of the process from:
Assisting in the specification of design requirements for all equipment including new-build and modifications to existing units Ensuring that all information relating to projects and assets is accurately recorded and stored appropriately The design of products including Pressure Vessels and Economisers through to preparing general arrangement and fabrication drawings Procuring materials and liaising with suppliers, while compiling all relevant project and quality documentation.Dealing directly with customers throughout duration or Projects.The Person
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will have the following skills: Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering. Proven practical background within the management of projects within a similar field. Ideally an understanding of the heat recovery industry, with knowledge of industrial boilers, pipework and pressure vessels.
