About Us:

We opened our doors in Camberley in June 2014 as one of the UK’s first fully featured trampoline parks transforming what was once an industrial warehouse into a trampoline filled play area for participants of all ages.

The idea remains simple. Bring people together, get active, get fit and have a ton of fun while doing so. Whether you’re flying across main court, diving into our giant foam pit, playing an intense game of dodgeball warfare, breaking new ground in one of our fitness classes or competing with your friends to see who can land the smoothest dunk.

We now also operate trampoline parks in Sunderland and St Albans with many more parks planned for the future. Each of the parks has its own management structure supported by a team at our head office which provides expertise in marketing, finance, business planning, human resources and other core business functions.

Role Purpose:

Our St Albans' site has had a hugely successful first 5 months since opening. The challenge is now to build on this by continuing to improve the customer experience and set industry leading standards of health and safety, all whilst increasing profitability. The General Manager is directly responsible for ensuring the smooth running and operations of the park, making sure the company’s customer experience and Health & Safety standards are adhered to on a daily basis.

Role Details:

This role is accountable to the Area Manager and Company Directors. The role has some people and budget management responsibility.

A busy and hands on dynamic role we often see 5 parties per hour (roughly 100 children) on weekends accumulating in over 1000 children having parties with us per weekend. Then there is the cafe selling over 150 sandwiches and 350 slushies per week and that’s without mentioning the amount of coffees, teas, lattes and hot chocolates our staff make!

By joining us you will have the opportunity to lead this park departments and strive them forward with new ideas and excellent operating standards as the business continues to grow.

The successful candidate will achieve a salary of up to £32,500 per annum plus benefits but working evenings and weekend hours will be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the role. The post-holder may also need to undertake some shifts in a Duty Manager capacity.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be:

+ An able and confident leader with demonstrable experience of driving a high performing team
+ A great communicator who is positive and professional with a can-do attitude
+ Able to keep a cool head under pressure and think on their feet
+ Highly knowledgeable and experienced in ensuring health and safety at all times
+ Commercially aware with experience of managing a budget
+ Leisure industry experience desired
+ Previous experience of managing people and departments
+ An interest in trampolining and gymnastics desirable

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Leisure Manager, Sports Club Manager, Centre Manager, Site Manager, Duty Manager.
