Training Consultant - Software, 6 Months Contract, Bristol based Pontoon has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Consultant that is used to working with a fast moving environment. The Successful consultant will need to have experience within creating and designing training for new software. Skills Needed Minimum of 3 years external customer training delivery and development in a software applications environment.Ability to design and deliver trainingBeing able to design training from scratchPrevious experience of training with softwareExcellent product knowledge in DA product including functionality and configuration of the system to meet business requirementsExcellent knowledge of MS Office suiteAbility to understand technical aspects of softwareExcellent communication and presentation skillsKnowledge or awareness of market sectorsAbility to work to deadlines and under pressureAbility to manage client expectationsAbility to develop course content and deliverable for both internal staff and external clientsStrong commitment to people and skill development Experience needed Work with numerous stakeholders such as L&D and product management team to establish appropriate learning and training plans for the products coveredDesign the Training courses and develop them.Good level of database experience, e.g. if you have taught MS access at an intermediate or advanced levelKnowledge of FICO or warehousing systems would be ideal or written training material for call centre softwareCollections or Debt Management experience would be desirableHave worked for large clients with bespoke systemsBeing able to challenge developers to create the trainingNeed to have MS Access / database experience will not be able to spend time getting them up to speed on the database side without it.Create training packs for each of the courses delivered (manual, exercise, presentations etc.)Prepare documentation for new functionality and new releases of products and propositions Update existing documentation to incorporate changes to functionalityBe involved in the creation and maintenance of material related to accreditation frameworkAssist with creation of exam and validation mechanisms for the accreditation framework Continually review and seek to improve existing learning plans, processes and systems and find smart ways to disseminate better the skills ** This position may allow working from home ** For more enquires please contact - If you feel you have relevant skills for the role then simply attach an up to date CV and click apply now.
