Accounts Payable Officer Grade 2/3 (£15,961- £18,214)

The main purpose of the post is to register all invoices into the finance system and ensure invoices are ready to pay on due date

You will chase tasks that are with budget holders and liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth receipt and payment

You will be challenged on a daily basis and you will be expected to deal with invoice queries and assist in resolving issues, as well as day to day purchase order queries and contractor payments.

The successful applicant will ordinarily start at the bottom of the pay scale unless they can demonstrate with payslips they are currently earning a higher salary, in which case they will start at the higher in the pay scale. The top of the grade is the maximum that will be paid for the post.
