LOCATION: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary depending on experience + pension + 25 days holiday

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm - overtime available

THE COMPANY: Founded in 1964, our client specialises in the manufacture of blow moulds and blow moulding equipment for some of the largest moulders in Europe. Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, they are a designer and manufacturer of blow mould change parts, machinery, blow moulding equipment and moulds, and are the UK's largest independent blow mould manufacturer.

THE ROLE: Our client currently has a vacancy for a CNC Machinist to join their established company based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. In this role you would be working on various machines including CNC Machines, 5 axis Machines, Spark Eroder Machine and Grinders to manufacture blow mould parts to fit specific machines for different clients.

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist to include:-

• Work on various machines to manufacture blow mould parts
• Repairs and modifications of the parts if required
• Create spare parts for clients when required
• Work in a safe manner observing Health and Safety requirements, risk assessments and Company procedures

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or previous working knowledge with the following: CNC Machines, 5 Axis Machines, Spark Eroder Machine or Grinders. As a CNC Machinist, knowledge of all the above machines would be desirable, and a general knowledge of Engineering is essential. A Forklift Licence would be highly advantageous.

Key experience essential for the role of CNC Machinist based in Aylesbury:

• Must live within a commutable distance of Aylesbury.
• Will have previous experience using any of the above machines listed in the candidate information.
• A general knowledge of engineering is essential.
• A forklift licence is highly desirable but not essential.
