LOCATION: Havant, Hampshire
JOB TITLE: Trainee Revenue and Benefits Officers
SALARY: A career progression salary scheme (starting salary GBP15,000) with key incremental progression points in the first 2 years, for example GBP750 after first 6 months on attainment of agreed targets and standards.
WORKING HOURS: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Our client is the leading professional support service organisation in the country and they are now recruiting trainee Revenues and Benefits Officers with a commencement date of 30th January 2017. Due to continuous success and expansions, exciting opportunities have arisen for Trainee Revenue and Benefits Officers to join their ambitious team on a full time permanent basis.
Following our clients outstanding training the successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with revenues and benefits correspondence sent to Local Authorities including housing benefit and Council Tax support claims.

Key Responsibilities for the Trainee Revenue and Benefits Officer:-
• Data analysis
• Various administrative duties
• Liaising with customers and internal departments
• Implementing general office procedures
• You will be required to work within a team ensuring that time scales and team priorities are met as well as your own set targets

The ideal candidate for the role based in Havant, Hampshire will be highly punctual and capable of working to tight deadlines within a fast paced environment. The post holder will be competent in the use of computers with the ability to absorb and retain detailed information.
The successful candidate will be an individual who is looking to undergo training in order to develop their skills further. Please note, to be considered for this role all candidates must undergo a financial probity check and a basic disclosure criminal check.
