Contractors wanted to start work from 23rd January onwards!
Our client is one of the aerospace industry's largest and most diverse manufacturers of finished machined and fabricated detailed parts made from hard and soft metals. Due to growing order books, they are looking to add to their welding team and have a number of positions open for experienced TIG welders. The company already work with some of the biggest names in Aerospace such as Rolls Royce and Airbus.
It is ESSENTIAL that you have TIG welding experience within aerospace or another industry which thin gauge was part of your daily activity (0.8mm-3mm). The role will involve working on ALUMINIUM and STAINLESS STEEL, therefore previous work on both materials is also a neccessity. Working from detailed engineering drawings is a core part of the role so you must be competent reading and working from these. Other sectors that may be copnsidered are; medical, rolling stock, MOD and Precision Engineering.
There are various shifts available and flexibility is preferred due to thet nature of contracting work.
Double Days/12 hour days M-Th/Nights/Weekends
Basic pay - GBP16.50 - GBP17.50
