Role Outline
This is a home-based role covering the SPN (Southern Power Networks) region within UKPN. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager from an HV power distribution background (ideally new connections) to deliver HV cabling works between 11-132kV. Working on large high-value DNO projects, you will take ownership of the cabling aspects of works within substations. These projects can be new builds, extensions, diversions, etc.
Responsibilities
* Take personal responsibility for the successful delivery of projects on site.
* Ensuring the Health and Safety of the Site is paramount.
* Responsible for the teams on site.
* Liaising with clients (private, DNO, iDNO).
Requirements
Essential
* Project Management experience providing new electrical points of connection (POC).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent management skills.
* Experience with LV/HV cabling, substations, switchgear, ring mains, jointing, terminations, etc.
* Previous UK experience.
Desirable
* An electrical qualification.
* SSSTS or SMSTS
