Blackmagic Design are one of the World’s leading manufacturers of creative video technology, supplying broadcast, film, post production and AV industries.

We require a Returns Technician to work within the company’s existing in-house Support Team. The Technical Support team provides outstanding quality customer service and technical support to all distribution and reseller partners, as well as end users within EMEA, for free!

Reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for investigating and testing products returned as faulty, and providing the necessary repair or corrective action. The Returns Technician role will also require some customer service via phone and email, on the entire range of products.

Blackmagic offer excellent on-going training and development in all the required skills, product knowledge and technical ability required by the role, however the ideal candidate must be enthusiastic about technology and bring an inquisitive mind, positive attitude and bags of enthusiasm.

Past experience in IT and computer systems is ideal, especially with hardware assembly or repair. All Returns Technician positions are entry level and plenty of training will be given but a background and keen interest in technology is essential! Previous experience in a similar position, or with SMD re-work is a benefit but not essential.

The position is office based, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
