JOB TITLE: Customer Service Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive pay dependent on previous experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
THE COMPANY: Our client are one of the country's leading power generation specialists that provides solutions, maintenance, sales and hire to customers across the UK. Due to continued expansion they are currently recruiting for an experience and well organised Customer Service Manager to join their existing team located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

THE ROLE: As a Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the service department deliver customer satisfaction by facilitating the efficient functioning of our clients busy service office. You will achieve this through a range of administrative, financial and managerial tasks.
Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Manager's role in Ilkeston, Derbyshire include:
- Supervise Service Co-ordinators and ensure tasks are complete to high standards
- Auditing information and report writing
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and resolve any irregularities, queries or complaints
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure clients are satisfied first time every time
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the the Customer Service Manager's role must have previous experience in a managerial or senior Customer Service Role from within a fast paced or 'reactive' industry such as the Hire Industry, Construction, Engineering or Energy sector. You should have good IT skills, have experience using Microsoft Word & Excel and be able to learn how to use CRMS systems or new software. You must have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure whilst still delivering excellent Customer Service.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Customer Service Manager's role in Ilkeston, Derbyshire :-
- Previous experience in a managerial or senior Customer Service Role essential
- Must have experience in a reactive industry such as Hire Industry, Construction, Engineering or Energy industries
- Good IT Skills and experience using Microsoft Word & Excel essential
- Must be an exceptional organiser who can work well under pressure
- Must have ability to deliver excellent Customer Service at all times
