Dtuch or French Intercompany Accountant

Our client, a leading Commercial Company based in Hertfordshire are currently recruiting for an Intercompany Accountant on a permanent basis. In order to apply for this position you must be a Native or Fluent Dutch or French or Flemish speaker and be available to start work immediately. Please note that this role will require quite a lot of international travel to begin with.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Maintaining intercompany accounts covering the EMEA region and maintaining them for US GAAP and Statutory reporting standards
* Preparation of intercompany and balance and sales statements
* Preparing journal entries for general ledger purposes
* Preparation of intercompany sales and balance statements
* Month end duties including reporting and updating and maintaining closing schedules
* Performance of balance sheet and income statement accounting
* Internal control duties including performing internal control and coordinating internal and external audit requests
* Person Specification:

* Fluent or native Dutch or French or Flemish speaking is essential
* Experience and knowledge of SAP is essential
* Experience in Intercompany accounting
* Experience and in depth knowledge in SAP
* Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting would be of an advantage
* General ledger accounting experience including accountant analyses and expense analysis
