Our client is an innovative and leading mental health support provider in Bristol, North Somerset, B&NES and South Gloucestershire. Their primary aim is to support and empower individuals in order to promote their own recovery and improve their mental health.

Support Assistants, Community Supported Accommodation (Bristol) - 3 posts

Salary Range £14,869 - £16,272 per annum

3 x 37 hours per week, part timers considered

They are individuals with a wide range of support needs, including mental health and learning difficulties. They want to become more independent, but might need people like you to support and encourage them on a weekly basis. Things you could support them with are day-to-day tasks, contacting other organisations for more specific support and talking to them when they need someone to listen. If you are passionate about helping them, enthusiastic, able to communicate well with a range of people and can treat them like individuals, then they would like to meet you.

Our client believes that hope and respect for each individual's personal journey of recovery is central to the delivery of its services and they are looking for people who have the motivation to work with a recovery focused approach.

Our clients Community Supported Accommodation service provides support to people with mental health and learning difficulties currently living in Bristol, in order to help them live independently in their own home and community. They are looking for individuals to join this growing service and help form a successful and dynamic team.

You will have experience of working with people with support needs and knowledge/experience of supporting people with mental health needs and learning difficulties. A full driving license and access to transport is essential as the posts involve travel around the Bristol area.
