GI Group are recruiting for a Business Sales Executive to join one of Europe's largest packaging companies who are going from strength to strength and due to the up turn in business are looking to expand there sales team and are based in Derby.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be apart of a dynamic sales team and growing business, with excellent long term career potential.
Role Purpose:
- Explore and maximise all sales opportunities through various channels
- To build relationships and loyalty among assigned/ development customers
- Liaise with customer service ad visors/ estimating and purchasing to maximise opportunities
Main Aim and Responsibilities:
- Following up new customers and prospects to secure new sales opportunities, through various channels
- Maintain regular contact with assigned/ development customers
- Follow up quotations and convert
- Customer visits as and when required
- Respond to over flow calls from the customer service team as and when required
- Achieve daily/ weekly activity results, taking corrective action as necessary in order to achieve plans
- Actively source leads, via web opportunities, unallocated and allocated customer existing accounts
- Up selling , Cross Selling, Customer profiling
Person Specification:
- Bubbly / Outgoing with an excellent telephone manner
- Previous inbound and outbound telephone based sales experience
- Confidence to respond to new sales situations, approach new customers and try new approaches
- Proven ability to grow sales and achieve objectives
- Business awareness with appropriate supporting qualifications in mathematics, english and general educational standard
- Highly motivated, well organised, problem solver
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am until 8.30am - 5pm
