My client requires an Hardware Engineer on a permanent basis
PRIMARY DUTIES & TASKS:
This will include but not limited to:
Responsible for the Hardware & Software aspects of designs and the successful integration with electrical and gas systems.
Support existing Hardware & Software.
Develop and lead designs of new Hardware & Software including future architecture.
Assist Test Department on In-house testing of systems, software and hardware.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
knowledge of both Hardware and Software design principles, standards and regulations, SEMI standards a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of Architecture and RS485/MODBUS/CANBUS protocols with interfacing to control systems with multiple I/O in digital and analogue.
Ability to write and modify complex C/C++ applications
Experienced with Safety Relays, PLCs and HMIs
Basic knowledge of Windows API
Database design and SQL
Able to design electronic/electrical circuits, including pcb layout.
PIC programming.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or equivalent in Physics/Engineering or a relevant discipline.
