We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Control & Instrumentation Technician to join our Gas Storage Business.

You will be tasked with effective implementation of maintenance, development and on going project work on the instrument and control systems and standards on our Gas Storage Sites. This will include providing first line maintenance support, fault diagnosis to root cause analysis on critical plant and equipment and assisting in the preparation of maintenance schedules. At times you will supervise a team of staff and contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard in terms of safety and quality and all relevant systems are updated. To ensure the plant is working at its maximum performance you will complete preventative maintenance and contribute your ideas on how to improve processes.

To be successful in this role you will be educated to ONC/NVQ Level 3 in C&I Engineering or equivalent, along with experience in a C&I maintenance role in the gas industry or equivalent. Experience of using CMMS for example Maximo is essential as is being able to use the most up to date systems. You will take pride in the work you complete, have strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and be detailed orientated.

As you will travel to different sites it is essential you have a full driving licence and will be required to work flexibly to ensure the facilities are running to their maximum efficiency.
