Position for a driven and hands on Engineering Manager to play a central role in revolutionising a prominent food manufacturers facility into a world class site.
This role will suit an Engineering Manager who wants to make key critical decisions concerning PPM improvements, upgrade projects, and the transition to a fully automated environment.
The company are an established, but growing food manufacturer who have received significant investment and want to increase their production output, standards, processes and efficiencies. The site has modern equipment, a range of increasingly advanced kit and a long term, highly skilled and well-disciplined Maintenance Team, but lack the leadership of an Engineering Manager
The role is to work closely with a very dedicated and ambitious MD and Factory Manager who hold great pride in their business. You will be responsible for leading the experienced Maintenance Team, introducing a strict and efficient PPM structure, overseeing upgrades, continuous Improvements and new line and machine installations. The role is for a leader who wants to drive from the front and take the care and belief to turn the engineering department into a world class facility
