Advanced Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounting Supervisor for our client based on the outskirts of Dundee. Our client is looking for a committed and motivated individual who is looking for a fresh challenge. The right candidate must have a 'can-do' attitude and have determination to be successful.
The position incorporates a mix of financial accounting with business analysis and reporting. The individual will be responsible for providing daily support and guidance to the existing finance department, ledger, payroll and invoicing functions ensuring efficiency and provision of timely and accurate financial information within agreed set timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust internal financial reporting in line with business requirements
- Reviewing and developing operational process flows between our different operating platforms
- Prepare & package the monthly management accounts pack
- Stock reconciliations
- Manage annual audit process
- Manage insurance claims and risk in relation to contracts
- Day to day management of employees and workloads within the department
- Assist the financial controller with any other adhoc tasks
Skills & Abilities (Desirable):
- Have or working towards ACCA and/or CIMA Qualification
- Database experience

Contract: Permanent, Circa GBP30K DOE
