Salary: GBP33,590 + benefits

Location: Based at Skelmersdale office, covering West Lancashire

Working hours: Permanent, full-time.

They are committed to providing the very best care and personal support required to meet the needs of the service users by making sure staff are well trained to the specific needs of the people concerned.



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locality Registered Service Manager to join their dedicated team at their office in Skelmersdale. The key purpose of the role is to:
  • Manage the delivery of individualised community care and support to adults experiencing a learning disability, and/or physical/sensory impairment
  • Be responsible and accountable of regulated and non regulated activity as defined by The Health and Social Care Act 2008
  • Ensure that the standards of Community Care and Support meet all the requirements of CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and/or any condition set by The Care Quality Commission
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all Commissioned Services (provider broker or self directed) are compliant with agreed support plus any requirements of the Commissioning Authority
  • Ensure service provision is consistent with the Company's statement of purpose
  • Register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and undertake the role and responsibility of Registered Manager within the service, holding responsibility for all actions and reports required under CQC regulations.


Applications are invited from candidates experienced in working with people experiencing learning disability, who ma currently work as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Service Manager or Registered Manager or who may hold a professional qualification as a Learning Disability Nurse or Social Worker. The successful person will hold a level 4 RMA/LMCS, or level 5 Diploma, or be successful in obtaining this qualification during the 12 months after appointment.
