History Teacher

Randstad Education is currently assisting with the recruitment of a History Teacher in Leeds to start in immediately covering a maternity leave.
The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum that will enable students to become engaged 21st century citizens. As a 'thinking school', quality learning and teaching is the focus of everything they do.
It is hoped that the successful candidate will bring further success to a tight knit Humanities faculty. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to relate to young people will be essential, as is a thorough knowledge of the curriculum through Key Stages 3 & 4. There is also the possibility of some KS5 teaching. At least two years' teaching experience is desirable, although outstanding NQTs are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Recent and relevant experience teaching History in the UK
- Taught History up to KS4
- A good work history
- A PGCE in History with QTS
