Job Title: Depot Maintenance Electrician (Mechanical and Electrical)
Location: West and South Yorkshire (Wakefield and Doncaster)
Salary: GBP27,400 p.a. including stand-by payments (1 in 4 weeks) plus pension and private medical and 33 days' holiday per year (including bank holidays)
An outstanding opportunity has arisen within a large and dynamic Facilities Management company, who continue to enjoy sustained growth with its impressive multi-site client base which includes a National Facilities contract for Asda.
We have a permanent full time position for a Cluster Depot Maintenance Technician who will work as part of a team of technicians, for providing a planned and reactive maintenance service. You would be based at a depot but would be required to carry out on call works at other Distribution centres within the cluster. The maintenance will be provided across a range of electrical and mechanical plant and therefore electrical qualification is essential with use on mechanical equipment being desirable.
Your technical experience could have been gained from any number of sectors. You would be expected to work with hydraulics, pneumatics and as electrical work is a priority, you should be fully qualified and have served an electrical apprenticeship and hold a Guilds 2360 (Parts 1, 2) or Level 3 NVQ Electrical/Mechanical qualification, plus C & G 2382 (17th edition).
You will be positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. You will be a strong communicator at all levels and be able to react to priority changes and in return you will be provided with a full uniform, tool kit and a full training and induction program as well other benefits such as discounts at major retailers.
The position does require you to have your own transport but a vehicle is supplied to cover the on call rota.
