Vice President of Operations -
Location: New York
Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 + Exec Benefits
The Client:
A Leading Chemical & Coatings Manufacturer who specialise in Decorative, Protective, Industrial, Automotive, Architectural and Speciality Coatings is currently looking to recruit a VP of Operations to assist with their expansion. This is a highly senior level role with reporting lines going directly into the president of the business unit.
The Role:
Ideal candidates will have extensive industry experience working within senior operational management, with infrequent changes in roles. The candidate must have detailed experience working within the Chemical or Coatings market and demonstrated outstanding leadership and ambition. The incumbent should come from a strong operational background, having had experience managing multi-site manufacturing plants.
The Requirements:
The role holder will have full oversight for all operations within the group, receiving reports from all of the company's senior operations directors. This role will have overall responsibility to ensure the effective execution and profitability of projects and will report into the corporate office in Europe. One focus of the role will be to ensure the effective relations with the companies major clients to maintain the continued success and growth of the company.
*Undergraduate or Graduate Degree.
*More than 15 years operations experience Chemical / Coatings including at least 5 years increasing responsibility as a Operations Director.
*Proven Operations management experience or supply chain project delivery experience.
*Extensive experience in Chemical/Coatings as well as associated processes
*Ability to develop new, proprietary and innovative solutions to current processes is an asset.
*A willingness to travel, both domestic and internationally, for varying durations and at times to remote locations.
