My client, a well respected automotive company, is now looking to recruit an experienced Master technician.
The Master technician is the 'Technical expert', with an independent workload, but an expectation that the rest of the team will look to them for support and guidance. Main focus is on electronic system diagnostics and advanced mechanical repair work (Clutches, engine repair, timing chains etc.). They will also be expected to work directly with customers as part of the diagnostic process.
Looking For
Minimum 3 years` current experience in a senior/master technician position. Experience with advanced diagnostics, both electronic and mechanical. High level of mechanical repair skill. Good current technical knowledge of modern vehicles and systems. Good problem solving skills - able to work outside of a prescribed diagnostic process. Able to work independently and manage own workload. Able to interact with customers effectively - especially when explaining complex faults Full driving licence
Salary will include a basic salary of GBP28,000 plus bonus GBP36,000 OTE DOE
