Quality Inspector - Despatch for Aircraft Component Supplier in a fast paced environment offering competitive salary
As a Quality Inspector within Logistics warehouse you will work as part of the Goods Despatch team to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely despatch of all out going shipments. This is a very busy area of the warehouse operations and you must have the ability to work accurately at speed to meet strict deadlines and provide the highest level of service.
Working 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, flexible 8 hour day between 7 am to 7 pm
Responsibilities of Quality Inspector:
?? Good knowledge of warehouse disciplines
?? Working experience and knowledge of Aircraft Spares Parts
?? Pick and Inspect parts for despatch
?? Evaluate all certification and documentation
?? Liaise with Logistics department and resolve any discrepancies and issues
?? Ensure items are packed to shipping requirements and regulations
?? Correctly identify, pack and raise HAZMAT documentation
?? Calculate weights and dimensions
?? Input and record relevant data on IT systems
?? Move and handle all aircraft parts and other products in accordance with company regulations
?? Use Counter balance/Reach Forklift equipment within the warehouse
?? Good knowledge of warehouse disciplines
?? Ability to undertake physical tasks within Health and Safety guidelines
?? Excellent computer literacy, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Due to rural location of this client applicant must have own transport and valid UK driving licence
