Management Accountant

We are currently helping our client based on the outskirts of Colchester - they are seeking a Management Accountant to join manufacturing business.
You must possess a strong background in manufacturing to be considered for this role.

In order to be considered for this role you must have the following proven skills and abilities:

Preparation of monthly management account.
Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Forecasting
Processing VAT returns
Variance Analysis.
Develop and maintain monthly reports on performance.
Develop and implement a budget for the business.
Create and analyse ad-hoc reports to support department heads.
Analyse all aspects of the business performance to allow for optimum business making decisions.

The successful candidate must be part or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) and have the ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast moving and quick paced work environment. Advanced excel skills and strong MS office skills are needed alongside proven and effective communication skills.
