£8.33 - £10.04 per hour

Swindon College is looking for student support workers to sign up to our 'Bank of Staff' to help provide short and long term support to students.

The post holder will be responsible for working with learners who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities to enable them to access their course, leading to greater learner retention and achievement. The post holder will be expected to use their skills to support, mentor and guide the learner(s) in their learning, to work as a member of the Additional Learning Support team, and to work with Tutors and other college support staff.

You will work in accordance with the quality and safeguarding requirements of the organisation.
You will maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the department by following the Data Protection procedures and be aware of confidential issues linked to home, pupil, lecturer, and College work and ensure the

Confidentiality of such sensitive information.

A level 3 qualification in Learning Support or equivalent is desirable or a commitment to gaining in 24 months.
