The Role:

* To deliver HR support to sites consistent with operational objectives and targets
* To contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* To pro-actively engage with Divisional Directors, senior managers and line managers in the anticipation and avoidance of HR issues
* To work closely with employees and managers in the satisfactory resolution of grievances
* To liaise closely with Recruitment to ensure that recruitment activity meets business requirements
* To liaise closely with the Academy to ensure technical and managerial skill needs are identified and resolved

The Person:

Candidates will demonstrate:

* Strong HR Knowledge
* Willingness to innovate and challenge not just to react
* Strong understanding of employment law
* Excellent analytical skills and ability to use Microsoft Office suite effectively

Experience:

Candidates will ideally have:

* Previous experience of working at HR Business Partner/Senior HR Officer level
* Considerable experience of advising managers on employment issues such as disciplinaries, sickness absence, grievances and redundancy
* HR Qualification (CIPD) or equivalent experience
