Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - aerospace/defence background
Business Development Manager needed by our client UK's largest independent provider of wiring, interconnect and system solutions for the defence, aerospace, marine and nuclear industries to be based at their head office in Rendlesham. They have 280 employees and 35 years' experience in there sector.
In the role you will be reporting directly to and working closely alongside the Sales & Marketing Director, you will design and deliver a UK growth agenda in a front facing sales business development role. Working with UK Customers, in house experts and peers to drive sales growth and utilise company resources to increase profitable revenues through existing and new channels.
Required skills:
Ideally Degree educated in engineering
proven track record in the commercial air and Defence Markets,
2-3 years+ in a front facing sales roles, extensive exposure to the aerospace/defence OEM's and the ability to sell system and value add, not just product.
A proven commercial negotiator with experience sourcing, winning and closing major deals, your leadership and customer facing communication & presentation skills will be of the highest standard.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, CRM, etc)
Salary £30K -£50K depending on experience
